We will be working on new modules as we get time. Here's some ideas:
(note some may take a while and others may never be done. These are simply ideas and not listed in order of implementation...)

1. Project Page Module
When developing a module or theme it would be nice have a project page which shows what the module does, the current version and it's "new features", download link and stats (taken from the download module), links to previous versions (release notes and downloads), links to demo sites, links to sites using it (with submit option), support information (link to forum and documentation), maybe feature requests, maybe bug tracking...

this would help consolidate everything needed for end-users for one project.

(maybe this can be features added to NSN's project)

2. About Us Module
Make it easy to have an about us page: address and directions (ie metmaps), unlimited additional pages (to write about us and any other info), list of employees with pictures (like associates module), contact us (i've seen a better one where you can choose a specific dept), recommend us (metrecommend of course), testimonials (mettestimonials of course)

each page can optionally link to the other pages.

3. MetAuthors 2.0 ie Columnists
List all columnists (ie users that have submitted stories) with their bios and picture along with their overall stats ie ratings and reads...

4. Super Topic
This consolidates all articles, forum topics and weblinks about 1 topic on one page (and it automatically updates as you have more content). this will give your users more info one one page and will make your website more friendly to search engines...

This is almost done. You can see it in action:

5. What's New

6. MetOpen Topics
Give topics a facelift similar to metopen home page so it looks nicer to the reader with less boxes. Later I can add a large topic image and description to each topic to make it more complete.

7. Send News To other nuke sites
Create some mechanism to get nuke news to people in an efficient way. For example, currently a module/theme developer needs to log onto multiple sites and post the news via copy and paste.

Here's a few ideas to get the ball rolling.
* module it saves your name and password for each site you want to submit to and your enter your article info once and it submits to the sites.
* Mail list some kind of list that will help populate sites.
* RSS Feed (i'm not knowledgable enough with this yet to know how feasible it is) have a special tag so that "released" news from your site goes to a special RSS feed that other sites can pick up and automatically import into news module (to be approved).
* web service
(see additional discussion here: let us spread the news automatically)

8. MetOpen News
News module built to be user friendly and search engine friendly:
1) customize header title and meta tags
2) make the article title an <h1> which search engines like
3) show about the author in the top of the article in it's own seperate box.
4) Easy add custom right blocks.
